Storyline

One fateful night, Marla, a worn-out single mother, makes a grisly confession that changes the lives of everyone around her. A Lion's Tale tells parallel stories about a mother seeking forgiveness for her sin and the violent, bullying incident leading up to her confession. A struggling waitress, Marla lives a stinted life in a small town with her son, Davis (Xavier Gould). Her world takes a crashing turn when a bullying incident gets out of hand and Davis' bully ends up dead. She seeks refuge and forgiveness from Father Holden for the murder of the bully who's tormented her son. As Marla's confession unfolds, a darker truth is revealed and we learn that not all is as it appears. What results is how far one mother will go to save her son. Written by Anonymous
