Storyline

DA Devalos asks Allison and Det. Scanlon to come in to work on a Sunday when siblings Brooke and Dylan Hoyt ask him for help in locating their mother, an old friend of his. As it happens, Allison had a nightmare the previous night where Brooke urges little Marie to shoot Allison and Joe while they're asleep in their bed. As they investigate, they find the brother and sister have had a tumultuous relationship over the years. Allison's ongoing dreams reveal a case of deception. At home, Joe's sister Sarah shows up at his front door after her marriage has broken down. Allison gets advice from the spirit of Joe's father on how to deal with her. Ariel asks her parents if she can go on a skiing trip with a classmate - whose 18 year-old brother will also be there. Written by garykmcd

Okay, a little preposterous!
26 December 2009 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Without revealing the truth and spoiling those who haven't seen the episode, James Van Der Beek and Morena Barracana (She's on V as the evil Anna) guest appear as a brother, Dylan, and sister Brooke in this episode where they are seeking their mother. Of course, Alison has her own disturbing dreams about them and suspicions. The truth is far more ludicrous than thought and maybe the show itself is getting stale to come up with more scenarios. First, there are so many crime shows on the air that they all begin to look alike. Except for Medium, the focus is on psychic medium, Alison Dubois, a Phoenix mother and wife who works the Phoenix Police Department. Her dreams are disturbing and in this case. The guest stars do a believable job even though the writing is weak to explain the circumstances.
