Night-time. The cabin. A blizzard is howling outside. Nick finishes reading the crumpled-up letter Sharon wrote to him, then threw away. It tells him she is still in love with him. She sees him reading it and begs for it back. He refuses. They end up making love. Outside: J.T. and Colleen continue their search for Brad. At Brad's place: Billy, Lily, Colleen, Abby and Ashley wait for Brad and hope he returns. Ashley listens to his phone messages to see if they provide any clues. One of them is from Victor Newman, threatening Brad with humiliation and ruin. Abby, in particular, is shocked and appalled. At the hospital: Noah is with Victoria when he remembers who pulled him out of the water: Brad Carlton. At Murphy's trailer: Katherine and Murphy play gin rummy. Katherine suddenly explodes into rage. She may have Alzheimer's, and she desperately wants her old life back and her loved ones next to her, while she is still able to remember them. Written by J.
