This is a very well made short film. It's creative, funny and left me wanting more.

The film begins with an odd phone call. A genie is talking on the phone to his boss--telling him that after thousands of years and wishes, he's gotten tired and wants to quit. The boss suggests a sabbatical.

In the next scene, the genie is working at, of all places, a hardware store. Despite being a low-status job, he seems pretty happy and likes his new life. However, one of his next customers is actually there to recruit him back to his old life.

During their conversations, I laughed several times because the writing was so clever. They were finally able to explain how Washington finally got a baseball team AND America voted for our last president twice (among other revelations).

Very cute and well made throughout. The acting and writing were lovely and I want to see more.
