After Tess gets her hands on the late Lionel Luthor's journal, she finally learns the identity of Clark, and of Davis' true origins, in which she abducts him and hold him hostage in the Luthor mansion where she tells him that Clark/Kal-El is the savior of mankind and he, as Doomsday, has been sent to destroy it. Davis also flashes back to his discovery upon his arrival on Earth and of him becoming acquainted with the young Lex Luthor. Meanwhile, while Clark tries to persuade Chloe about Davis' true nature in linking a series of killings to him, Davis decides to ask Chloe to find a way to destroy him before he destroys the world. After Lex and Davis leave to go play, Feathers is seen dead on the desk, assuming Davis killed it. In "The Death of Superman" comic book storyline, when Doomsday first comes into contact with Earth's creatures, a bird lands in its hands. Doomsday then kills it by crushing it. See more
