Interview: Author Paul Davis on Celebrating 30 Years of The Lost Boys in His New Retrospective Book Lost In The Shadows

6 June 2017 2:06 PM, PDT | DailyDead | See recent DailyDead news »

The first time I ever met Paul Davis was at a HorrorHound convention back in 2007. He was there presenting some footage from his amazing documentary, Beware The Moon, a celebration of all things An American Werewolf in London. His passion and enthusiasm for John Landis’ film, as well as for the horror genre as a whole, immediately struck me, and I’ve been following his career in the realms of filmmaking and writing ever since.

His latest literary endeavor, Lost in the Shadows: The Story of The Lost Boys, is currently available for pre-order Here, and arrives just in time for the 30th anniversary of Joel Schumacher’s landmark horror comedy. Daily Dead recently caught up with Davis to hear more about how Lost in the Shadows came together, his progression from werewolves to vampires, his experiences catching up with the cast and crew of The Lost Boys, and more. »

Don't Forget, We Already Met Owen's Sister Last Year on Grey's Anatomy

19 May 2017 12:20 PM, PDT | POPSUGAR | See recent BuzzSugar news »

Image Source: ABC While another gripping season of Grey's Anatomy is behind us, there's nowhere to look but ahead. In light of this week's relatively tame season finale, we've already set our sights on a few major loose ends that will likely be the major focal points once we dive in season 14. Stephanie has left the show, but as they say, when one door closes another door opens. At the end of the episode, Owen is reunited with his sister Megan. We've actually already met the character, who's portrayed by Bridget Regan. Back in the eighth episode of season 13, called "The Room Where It Happens," Owen has flashbacks during a particularly difficult surgery. He envisions his days in the army, specifically when he was working closely with his sister. Megan appears in this episode, almost as an apparition, and helps Owen through his struggle. Bones Boss on That X-Files Dig in Finale: 'There Was Some Concern'

29 March 2017 12:42 PM, PDT | TVLine.com | See recent TVLine.com news »

The (very) subtle shade is out there.

In Tuesday’s Bones finale, Booth — at the tail end of a moving pep talk he was giving to a demoralized Brennan — attempted to cheer his wife up further by assuring her, “We’re way better than Mulder and Scully.” That was no mere throwaway line. The crack bookended a moment in the show’s pilot 12 years ago when Booth gave the iconic X-Files duo a similar — albeit more effusive — shout-out, telling Brennan, “We’re Scully and Mulder.”

Any way you slice it, Bones just gave us a very happy “End in the End.”

After 12 seasons, the Fox drama signed off Tuesday with a wistful, bittersweet and ultimately satisfying hour that found Big Bad Mark Kovac permanently neutralized (aka killed), Brennan’s temporary amnesia reversed and Cam ditching the Jeffersonian to start a new family with Arastoo (but not before promoting Hodgins into her post as lab director). Along the way, the series sort of resolved the enduring “447” mystery, paid tribute to the late Sweets and maybe revealed the gender of Angela’s unborn baby.
