I'm not going to comment on the validity of any claims in this documentary since I myself am far from being an expert on the matter of the 2008 financial crisis - but as far as historical documentaries go, frontline succeeds in making something interesting into another yawn- inducing experience.
Here is what to expect from the visuals in this documentary:
* 50 minutes of Endless shots of New York City buildings and Wall Street Montages. * 1 minute of actual news footage
Too bad they don't show timelines, graphs, and other appealing visuals that could help explain one of the more COMPLEX and COMPLICATED historic events in the past 10 years. If you don't know anything about the crisis and finance in general - don't watch this. If you like NY, turn the sound off, put some Franky on, and enjoy.
