Storyline

Ron Everett just wasn't cut out to be a shoe farmer. All his life, he's dreamed of bright lights, glamor, riches, success and fabulous hair. But alas, he is slated to inherit the family footwear farm, prime responsibility for a horde of younger siblings for whom the farm provides sole support, and a life of drudgery in the orthopedic sandal and work boot fields... unless he can make it big in New Cityville in just one week!

Well Done Film w/ Oodles of Heart

This is a very ambitious project. The filmmakers wonderfully pulled it off on a shoe string budget.

You definitely root for the main character. It's fun to watch a character try to achieve his dreams.

There is oodles and oodles of heart in this film. That is what makes it so endearing. I love the idea of using unconventional characters and unconventional settings to tell a tale that anyone can relate too. It's the idea of an underdog trying to do what he loves in a very competitive; hard world. The movie is good times!

Oh, did I mention it's a musical with fun songs? Good times with singing!
