Though cancelled in December after three seasons, HBO comedy "Bored to Death" is under consideration to get a TV movie continuation.
An HBO rep confirms to The Live Feed that early discussions are under way to revive the property as a feature. Co-star Ted Danson first revealed the news at the Monte Carlo Television Festival, claiming that "there was a good chance of a 90-minute film".
Danson co-starred in the series with Jason Schwartzman and Zach Galifianakis which scored ratings of over 1 million during its first two seasons, numbers that had plunged to 240,000 during its most recent season.
Fans though should not get their hopes up. Talks have previously taken place for TV movie follow-ups to other HBO shows like "Carnivale," "Deadwood" and "The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency" - none of which have come to fruition. »
