The horror genre might be a better place because of the writer's strike a few years back. After all, if it hadn't been for the strike, Fewdio Productions may never have started and the world of independent horror would be an entirely different landscape. Originally founded by Drew Daywalt, David Schneider, John Crye, Kirk Woller, and Paul Hungerford, the group decided that just because all of them were facing a strike that would keep them from working, it didn't mean they were ready for a vacation just yet.
Daywalt took a few moments recently to speak with Dread Central about Fewdio and his upcoming web series "Camera Obscura".

The creators of Mwg Entertainment’s Internet horror series Camera Obscura, which is currently set to debut October 12 on numerous on-line platforms, sent along a few exclusive photos along with the trailer. You can see all the visual goodness below.
In Camera Obscura, which we previously covered here, veteran actor Jack Klugman (seen in the first and second photos) plays a Los Angeles crime scene photographer who, as his granddaughter Clara learns, discovered a scary alternate dimension. Now, Clara (Reagan Dale Neis) must take up his battle against its nightmarish denizens. Gali (third photo) co-stars along with Timm Sharp and Donnie Jeffcoat, with Jeffrey S. Farley of Obscure Artifacts and Mikal Sky handling the FX. The series was written and directed by Drew Daywalt, who just won Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights Scary Good Film Competition with his short Bedfellows.
