Storyline

Three-times world champion (as of 2016) Lewis Hamilton wins his first F1 world champion title on the final lap of the final grand prix of the season. As of 2008 he becomes the youngest driver ever to win the title. Kimi Raikkonen was defending the champion's title and a total of seven drivers from five different teams were winning races in this season. The season features the debut of the Singapore Grand Prix - first ever Formula One night race. The European Grand Prix moves to a new venue in Valencia, Spain.
