Thank you Yamina Benguigui for making this film.

This is the story of the city outskirts. So many people are used to see all sort of against the law activity. This is about life. I think it is too complicated. And that the makers have tried to fit too many issues in such a short time. Each thread of the story can make, if not a feature film, at least a medium lenght (30-40 minutes) film.

One can take this film as a light story, the type love story. After all there are a lot of girls who are doing just that: look for live. I have seen it from a different angle, as an artistic form of investigative journalism. How people get into a position to do extremely stupid gestures. Desperate actions which even the participants would admit as stupid once things cool off. Suicide, arranged marriage, every step pushes them further away from personal happiness in the name of respectability, honor or god. It even touches the failure of the French education which scores as a gain for the fundamentalists.
