TMZ Sports spoke with Carmen Carrera -- a transgender fashion model who was born a man. Carrera tells us ... Chloie Jonsson is getting the shaft (ironically) from Cf, which stated transgender athletes are only allowed to compete in the »

Each year I think about covering RuPaul's Drag Race, so I'm finally doing it. Like Mad Men (and I bet this is the only time you'll hear them compared!) it's awash in fun movie references. Highlights from the past have included Raja's bucket of blood Carrie dress to Raven's "I'm giving Michelle Pfeiffer bitch" to Jinkx Monsoon's Grey Gardens fetish to Tammie Brown's demented Old Hollywood persona to numerous truly terrible movie star impersonations (I've never seen a worse Marilyn or Joan Crawford, for example, than this show has provided) and so on. I know. I know. It's the sixth season, "the sixening". The library is open if you'd like to read me because these books are overdue!
Four movie references to start us off...

RuPaul’s Drag Race kicked off its sixth season with seven contestants battling it out for six available spots in part one of the premiere.
Next week, the premiere will conclude with seven more contestants being put to the test, and finally in week three the surviving 12 will come together for the competition. The two-part premiere is not the only trick RuPaul had up her sleeve. Another big change this season is there will be absolutely no immunity from eliminations.
First things first, RuPaul opened the show with her usual flair and introduced us to the Queens:
Adore Delano, aka Danny Noriega, is perhaps one of the less experienced of the contestants, but she has enough sass to fill any room. Noriega is no stranger to reality tv competition. He was a contestant on Season 7 of American Idol.
It turns out that Jefferies' girlfriend is a big fan of the show, and it gets viewed often in their household. Because of that, Jefferies says he's now an expert on what makes a good or bad drag queen.
During a conference call promoting the Season 2 premiere of "Legit," Jefferies expressed a desire to get to act as a guest judge on "RuPaul's Drag Race." "I'd do it properly and I wouldn't be rude or nothing," he promises. "It would make my girlfriend very happy."
Beyond his desire to join "RuPaul's Drag Race," Jefferies is also a fan of some of the most esteemed dramas on television. He admits that he's been very much enjoying "True Detective" and "The Americans," as »
As 14 new contestants rev up their engines for Monday's season 6 premiere of RuPaul's Drag Race - and each with charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent - a few stood out from the pack at the premiere party in New York City. Here are the ones to watch. Milk Milk does a body good - in 6-inch heels, she stands nearly 7' tall, perfect for her high-fashion sensibility. Her bold look at the premiere party - big hair, even bigger dress - was inspired by Alexander McQueen, but this queen says she is always altering her look. Bianca Del Rio Del Rio »

In June 2003, Simon Sherry-Wood was one of seven strangers picked to live in a house on MTV's "The Real World: Paris."The gay Ireland native appeared on the show's 13th season -- but, unlike his costars, he never went on to compete on any of the Challenges. In the 11 years since his run on the show, Sherry-Wood moved to L.A., got seriously buff and started modeling. And now, he's returning to reality TV!Now 29, Simon joins the infamous Pit Crew for the upcoming season of "RuPaul's Drag Race" -- meaning he'll be walking around a gaggle of drag queens in nothing but a pair of briefs. He's not the only former reality star on the show this year either."American Idol" alum Danny Noriega will actually be competing in Season 6 as his alter-ego Adore Delano. Noriega famously sparred with Simon Cowell during the show's seventh season back in »

Of course, the Olympics earned more viewers overall, scoring 21.3 million viewers compared to AMC's 13.3 million.
