great collection of matches
24 February 2010 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

When this DVD was going to released, the whole Starrcade theme along with what I thought was going to be all great matches really made me want to get it. Starrcade had a lot of great matches through the whole card. So I checked out the match listings before I bought the DVD. As I looked through the match listings, I seen many great matches that I liked and thought were some of Starrcades best. however there were a few matches that I thought had no business being in this collection. The match from Starrcade 2000, which was a ladder match for a contract for the cruiser weight titles. 3 Count .vs. Jamie Noble and Evan Karagias .vs. Jung Dragons was not a match that was worth of being in the DVD collection. Another match was from Starrcade 1996 when hogan took on rowdy piper. these guys already had their best matches in the 1980's in the wwf. pretty much to old guys putting on an average show. There are many more great matches from Starrcade that could have made it. Overall though most of the matches are good with some of them being great. I recommend this to any fan of this kind of wrestling.
