Enjoyable Film
moviebuff202029 September 2009
'The Sanguine Woods' was an enjoyable film. I saw it as a film festival recently and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. It was intriguing, suspenseful, and even at times frightening. It was a great mix of mystery and supernatural. The pacing was a little slow but the end of the film more than made up for it. It was well shot and the music did an excellent job of setting the atmosphere. The actors did a great job and while I figured out certain aspects of the film early, when they were revealed the actors did such an stellar job I was still taken aback. The blood and gore looked great as well. Overall a great production and well put together.

Sanguine Woods. Great Acting, Put "the girl", Peyton Caves, in a feature length film!

As an insatiable fan of the horror film genre, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of acting and the fresh approach by the actors and producers of Sanguine Woods. The "girl" in the film has an uncanny ability to capture the audience with just a fleeting glance. Peyton Caves is definitely an up and coming star and a force to be reckoned with. Watch for her to command the screen in the years to come. Anthony Williams is a brilliant writer with the foresight to cast a diverse group of talented players who proved to bring his vision to life. The film is a tantalizing glimpse into the coven practice linking nature and horror. Fans of the genre and of Ms. Cave, will be begging for more!
