In "Stop & Go Smurfs," Painter took the role of Le Schtroumpf sculpteur ("The Sculptor Smurf" in English) who makes sculptors, but does not appear in the cartoon series. He will take the role of sculptor again in Season Nine's "The Monumental Grouch."

Goofs:

Anachronisms: Near the end of "Poet The Know-It All," Poet cites a condensed version of his poem honoring the blooming of the century flower by mentioning the nasturtium. However, nasturtiums were unknown in Europe until they were imported from Central or South America in the 16th-17th century. The background of the Smurf cartoon series is the late Middle Ages (circa 14th-15th century), early for the understanding of nasturtiums in Europe.
