- This is a well-written 55-minute TV program in the Moving On TV series. This program Dress to Impress is complete in itself and is not continued. The lovely, attractive Laura (Dervla Kirwan of TV series Ballykissangel) is married to pub-going husband Jake (Ian Hart of Finding Neverland). After the husband finds sexy lingerie in the family bedroom, he thinks his wife's going to give him a treat on his birthday. Laura sings Stand by Your Man in the pub to Jake, during which birthday boy takes a bathroom break. Having told his boorish mates about his expectation, he's gutted when she's had one too many and wants to sleep. Behind the growing troubles Dan (Jack McMullen of TV series Waterloo Road) has the support of his internet cross-dressing friend. The Liverpool and Irish accents are understandable for US audiences without subtitles. Well worth watching.
