At last,some British television drama to be proud of. A brilliantly acted drama with the initial underlying theme of bullying, effecting the lives of two families. This friendship turns to anger and hatred when an incident between two boys escalates with the families falling out big time. The anger & tension mounts in 1hour of powerful drama with the two families finding out about their own shortcomings. The actors where all excellent, especially the two men and two boys. I'm only surprised it was aired at two O'clock in the afternoon rather than a later prime time slot where it could be appreciated by a bigger audience. Hopefully the rest of the series will live up to this episode

Pretty weak episode

Usually Mr. McGovern's shows are very believable. Not this episode. The lost child should have led to extremely worried and distraught parents. Nope. The thuggish guy had a beautiful wife way out of his league. When he cheats on her, her nonplussed reaction was completely false. The adults reaction to the bullying was over the top as well.
