In it, Palin attempts to find the participants from one of the most memorable events in his very first globe-trotting series, BBC1's Around the World in 80 Days, which was made 20 years ago. In that episode, he spent eight days and seven nights with Captain Hassan Sulyman and his crew, as they steered their open dhow, the Al Sharma, on a treacherous journey from Dubai to Bombay.
