[6.5] Pears and oranges!

Episode 5: A little better episode with the usual soporific Cassie arc, dragging multi-picturesquely for 40 minutes and just the right amount of barbie suspense by the end.

That barbie really nails it, her beauty, menace, charisma and psychotic behavior, all the while "friendly" smiling is just pure awesomeness. She's like that most of the time, besides when she "spanks" her boy. Love her acting.

internet sleuths

Oh goodness, not the internet sleuths! Luckily they played a random and small part in this episode. Otherwise, decent storyline progression, though maybe a bit stalled on progress.

Episode 5

Poor Harry, he did not make it out alive. Ken and Barbie made a real show out of his death.

However Broome is not convinced that it was a heroin overdose.

Broome also discovers that more men died or disappeared during the night of the carnival indifferent years.

All the people were male and had a history of being abusive towards women.

It is an important breakthrough for the police.

For Megan she meets Ray again and the old passions are rekindled.

At least the night of the carnivals gets some movement. Even the Megan/Ray story has some shape.

Although I groaned that her daughter once again followed her like she lives only a mile away from Blackpool.
