Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

Like in any GTA IV-based game, you can visit strip clubs and pick up prostitutes.

The Lost and Damned is controversial due to a long cutscene, in which a man is seen fully naked. Buttocks, pubic hair and penis are all visible for a long amount of time.

Violence & Gore

The violence is the same as the regular GTA IV.

In one cutscene, a man's throat is cut with a box cutter, which is extremely graphic.

In one mission, a cannibalistic prisoner takes a guard and bites him in the neck, with a large blood spray.

Profanity

Very strong language, almost all foul terms are used a considerable amount of times.

Several characters do drugs (pot, cocaine, heroin) on screen.

Of all the Grand Theft Auto games, this is most probably the toughest game in the series. It does not hold back in nudity, violence or drug use in any way.
