Did You Know?

In the opening scene, Mac chases down a man who shot someone. When he catches up with this perp, he uses a plastic bag in lieu of handcuffs, which makes sense since he's wearing a tuxedo. During the arrest, the perp's gun falls to the sidewalk. However, when Mac walks away with the criminal, he fails to pick up the gun - a mistake no police officer would commit. See more »

Detective Stella Bonasera: [At Danny's apartment, holding a bag with soup in it] Jewish penicillin.
Detective Danny Messer: [laughs] I'm not sick, Stella.
Detective Stella Bonasera: You like chicken soup, don't'cha?
Detective Danny Messer: [Hesitates] I could never say no to a little chicken noodle.
Detective Stella Bonasera: Then invite me in.
[He lets her in]
Detective Stella Bonasera: You know, I came over here to yell at you.
Detective Danny Messer: Stella, we deserve to get paid. Come on, cops work hard in this city, you know, I mean, the Brass, they're not working for free so why the hell should I? You know I'm right. Come on, pull up a spoon.

Some Memorable Moments In A 'Fair" Episode
1 February 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This episode was "fair," decent but not up to the normal high standards. Don't get me wrong: it still entertains. I just think, more than anything, it's a vehicle to introduce a new face we might see from time, played by veteran actor Craig T. Nelson. He plays a powerful newspaper publisher by the name of "Robert Dunbrook."

The story is about a politician being murdered, and the murderer is not one you'd normally associate with a crime of this magnitude. CSI lab tech "Adam Ross" (A.J. Buckley) has a memorable supporting role in this story, as it turns out. Instead of his normal irreverent self, he's gets really serious here.

I'm sorry to see my boy "Danny" come down with "The Blue Flu" here, the only member of the CSI team to do so. He gets a few of his partners mad at him, but only temporarily.
