For years motorcycle enthusiasts have wished for a film, which celebrates the joy of riding and captures the true spirit of adventure and freedom of motorcycle touring. Well, having twenty-one days off, a TV cameraman decides to make such a movie and heads west. With the help of his biker friends from all over the nation, he sets off on a journey to document the country's best roads, but discovers that it is the journey that matters in the end... Written by
I always wanted to ride cross country. And I buy DVD's about travel all the time. But, this film is so much more than a motorcycle movie. It prompts discussions on a variety of topics. I found Redline America to be a thought provoking film with a great scenery. The more I watch it the more I get out of it. I now know I could never take the needed time off from work to do this kind of trip, but I plan on visiting Yellowstone Park because of this movie. What a wild place! Share it with others, even those who don't ride. The music is good and it has a nice story. The country's geography is well represented. I saw animals I have never seen before. It's a fun ride.
BTW My son and I watched it with a map of the country, I recommend this as you get to see where you are during the trip. It is a really long ride!
