First time filmmaker goes the route of Mulholland Drive Part 2. No, there is nothing thematically in common with these two films, they are just simply as bizarre and confusing as each other.
Kely is not always successful, but you've got to give credit for originality. This is basically an amateur film and at that level I think it is quite impressive. Production values are very low, but still believable and I was drawn into the twisting plot.
Not sure when this will be released, but if you get a chance to watch it, why not? It's better than most crap Australia has to offer. At least it isn't about the same suburbia boredom that seems to be all the rage Down Under these days. At least it has a fresh voice.
