A London bus lands on an alien world that is a huge desert. But there are hidden secrets in the sand in the form of an alien race intent on destruction. The Doctor has to join forces with the mysterious Lady Christina de Souza in order to combat this race - and as time progresses, the deadly Swarm get closer.
