Dwayne Johnson doesn't show any signs of slowing down and is now entering the gaming world again. He will be, hopefully, making the adaptation of Rampage. If you don't remember, that's an arcade game from the 80's that lived through the early 2000's! Come check out the details!
Deadline is reporting the movie already has a script by Ryan Engle (Non-Stop), Beau Flynn (San Andreas) and Johnson are producing with Dany Garcia and John Rickard. The film is expected to start filming next summer (2016) shortly after Dwayne Johnson finishes filming Fast and Furious 8.
So far things are being kept quiet, but we can tell you about the game since we loved it! The game focuses on 3 people that get mutated into monsters. A warewolf, a gorilla, and »

Uwe Boll, Rampage director, went on an anti-Hollywood rant on Sunday to lament his failed Kickstarter campaign for Rampage 3. Uwe Boll Rant: “F–king Kill The Rich” Boll, a German director who has over 30 director credits to his name, has been trying to raise money to fund an imagined Rampage 3 to complete his […]

German director Uwe Boll is famous for various things, mostly churning out terrible movies. Ten years ago his films somehow went theatrical - "Alone in the Dark," "House of the Dead," "Bloodrayne," etc.
Since then he's been mostly doing direct to video fare from "the "In the Name of the King" sequels to the revenge piece "Rampage" and its sequel "Rampage: Capital Punishment". Recently Boll took to crowdfunding to try and score $55,000 in additional funding to produce "Rampage 3".
With only a few days left to go though, he hasn't reached half his goal and he's upset about it - to the point that he's delivered a video diatribe slamming crowdfunding in general as well as other targets like Marvel movies before declaring "f--- you all" and saying "I have enough money to play golf for 'til I'm dead".
Naturally there's been a lot of attention garnered by the video »

It's possible that you didn't know Uwe Boll had directed Rampage and Rampage 2. But if you were a fan of those films and on tenterhooks for Rampage 3, we're afraid we have disappointing news. The crowdfunding campaigns have not pulled in sufficient cash to allow the film to go ahead. Boll has now released a video telling us what he thinks about this.Unusually for Boll the Rampage films aren't based on videogames (so no, they're not about monsters smashing buildings). Instead, they're sort of Falling Down-meets-Natural Born Killers affairs, in which Brendan Fletcher decides he's mad as hell and isn't going to take it anymore, going postal in the city and, in the sequel, occupying a TV station. It's a war on Society, man.Rampage 3: No Mercy would have completed the trilogy, Fletcher and Lochlyn Munro set to reprise their roles from the previous films. It would have been, »
Since most of you have much better things to do with your weekend than listen to Uwe Boll rant and rave about how Hollywood is “laughing at us” on a daily basis, you probably missed his YouTube meltdown/bitch-fest/publicity stunt this past weekend.
Chances are you haven’t seen Rampage (a rather decent film) or its sequel, so you probably had no idea that Boll is currently crowdfunding Rampage 3: No Mercy, and after going the indiegogo route (which failed miserably), Boll fled to Kickstarter hoping that a different contributing community could keep his Damn-the-man franchise running strong. Long story short, the campaign failed yet again, and now Uwe Boll has one statement for us all: “Fuck Yourself.”
Yup, Boll is shocked at how “amateur idiots collect money on that absurd website.” According to Boll, he’s got enough money to play golf until he’s dead, and he might as well, »

"Basically, my message is f*ck yourself." Uwe Boll has made quite a few shitty movies (House of the Dead, Alone in the Dark etc) - but, he's also made quite a few... less shitty movies (Assault On Wall Street, Rampage, Darfur) that he is clearly very proud of. That's all well and good, but Mr. Boll evidently believes these underrated masterpieces to be vastly superior to the "Marvel Avengers bullshit dirt" type stuff us "geeks and idiots" are consuming on a regular basis instead of pouring money into his Kickstarter campaign. The German director has posted the below vids to his Youtube page, and in them he vents his frustration at not managing to raise the requisite cash needed to complete what would surely be his magnum opus, Rampage 3: No Mercy. He also takes the opportunity to make digs at the likes of Brad Pitt, Robert Downey Jr., »
Did you know writer/director Uwe Boll directed around 30 movies in his careerc I didn't, and of those, the number of them I've seen I can count on one hand: 2007's In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale and 2009's Rampage. I didn't even know he made a sequel to the latter, let alone had not one but two different crowdfunding efforts to complete his violent trilogy with Rampage 3: No Mercy. Turns out I wasn't alone. Boll's most recent crowd-funding campaign on Kickstarter is still several thousands dollars away from his goal with only three days left (the Indigogo one before that fell $93,675 short of its $100,000 goal) and he's not very happy about it. Not in the slightest, and he's not afraid to call people out for not supporting his movie in two YouTube videos released yesterday. He cusses out both fans who didn't support this »

He's directed movies such as "BloodRayne," "Alone in the Dark," "Postal" and "Far Cry," but at this point, German director Uwe Boll will be best known for his latest productions: YouTube videos in which he slams Hollywood and freaks out about his failed crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter for "Rampage 3," the third in the "Rampage" series. Read More: Determined to Get Final Cut, Abel Ferrara Turns to Kickstarter to Fund 'Siberia' With three days left to go, Boll's campaign has raised just over $26,000 of its $55,794 goal. Frustrated with the tepid response, the filmmaker told movie fans to "fuck yourselves." He also lashed out at Hollywood stars such as Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Robert Downey, Jr. who, he said, are "laughing" at low-income families who shell out money to see "Marvels Avengers bullshit dirt." This campaign is Boll's third failed attempt to reach his target goal for the. »

It took seven years, but the internet finally got Uwe Boll to quit — sort of. Turns out, all we had to do was wait for Kickstarter to be invented, and then use it to not fund Boll's latest film. The German filmmaker had been trying to Kickstart a sequel to his 2009 film Rampage, but after raising a fraction of what he was asking for, Boll released two YouTube rants swearing off crowdfunding for good. "Basically, my message is 'fuck yourself,'" he told the "retarded amateur idiots" who run sites like Kickstarter. "For me, crowdfunding is absolutely dead." Instead, the German filmmaker swore, in his own inimitable way, to secure international funding. "I’ll find another Chinese Alibaba idiot," he promised, "who wants to see his fucking yacht in Cannes to fuck supermodels." Either that, or he'll ease into an undoubtedly relaxing retirement: "I have enough money to play golf »

Uwe Boll is totally over it. The German director, a.k.a. The King of Trash, posted a brief but jaw-dropping tirade on YouTube over the weekend — well, multiple tirades — in which he bashes everything from Kickstarter to Marvel to Harry Potter. It’s blunt. It’s harsh. It’s extremely entertaining. Take a look. This comes after Boll, who directed movies like the two Rampage films and Postal, failed multiple times to gain funding for Rampage 3 on crowdfunding sites. As The Hollywood Reporter notes, his run on Indiegogo raised a little more than $5,000 of his $80,000 goal, while his latest Kickstarter campaign only reached approximately $25,000. With only three days left in the campaign, Boll decided to vent his frustrations online. In a phrase that sums up the angst in the entire video, Boll says how he wants to make Rampage 3 because it& »
Director Uwe Boll went on an expletive-laden rant on Sunday after his new film struggled to reach its crowdfunding goal on Kickstarter.
“Basically my message is ‘f–k yourself’,” the German filmmaker told movie fans. Boll also ridiculed the staff at Kickstarter, who he said manipulated him into thinking his new movie, “Rampage 3: No Mercy,” could raise $55,000 in a month.
The sequel to “Rampage,” his 2009 film, has only raised $24,500 with three days left. It’s the third failed attempt to reach the target goal after efforts on similar sites like Indiegogo.
“What retarded amateur idiots collecting money on that website,” he said of Kickstarter. “For me crowd funding is absolutely dead.”
