BlackboxTV, the horror-themed YouTube channel by Tony E. Valenzuela, collaborated with Mma and Ufc legend Frank Shamrock for Everlast, a horror short film set in the world of mixed martial arts, at YouTube Space La.
The film, a modern retelling of a classic horror story in the violent world of Mma, tells the tale of the strong, proud, and undefeated Angel Shepard. The film tells the tale of four people trapped in the once-vibrant Rosemont Lodge during a blizzard just before Christmas. Kell will portray a pregnant woman on the run from her past and Coughlin will play a professional snowboarder who slowly falls in love with her and the two residents of the resort, portrayed by Zabriskie and Dourif.
Petrie recently completed shooting the surfer thriller “Dawn Patrol,” starring Rita Wilson, Scott Eastwood and Jeff Fahey. Petrie began his directing career with “Toy Soldiers,” with Sean Astin, Wil Wheaton and Louis Gossett Jr.

Fresh off Lucy Hale‘s episode of Baby Daddy, the sitcom is about to add another famous ABC Family lady to its ranks: Cassie Scerbo! Robert Rodriguez used to have a hard drive that stored "all my favorite shows and movies and trailers and short films," which he described as his personal TV network.
He wants his new cable channel, the El Rey Network, to be the large-scale equivalent of that. "I wished someone would curate a network where everything you saw, if you were attached to that sensibility, you'd know that you would be taken care of," Rodriguez said Sunday (Jan. 12) at the TCA winter press tour.
El Rey launched in December and has its first original series, "From Dusk Till Dawn," on track to premiere March 11. It's based on the Rodriguez-directed, Quentin Tarantino-written movie of the same name, and Rodriguez wants the series to venture into territory he didn't get to cover in the film.
