This show, filmed on January 8 1968 and set to be broadcast the same evening, was pulled from the schedule and replaced by a 'Young People's Concert' because the VPRO leadership objected to nearly every item in the program. The items filmed at an old age pensioners home and at a record company party were deemed disrespectful. The semi-nude dancers (including Phil Bloom from "Kunst Baart Kracht" as well as an item about a nude model being photographed for Dutch men's magazine "Lach 69" were vetoed on account of indecency.
Several celebrities objected to have been filmed at a record company party by the Hoepla team. Singer Mieke Telkamp insisted her appearance was cut, and so did Kees Schilperoort. However, when the Hoepla team invited him to come and watch the footage beforehand, he took his teenage daughter with him, who enjoyed Hoepla and told him to allow the footage to be screened. Eventually Schilperoort agreed and in years to come, he would pop up in uncredited cameos in other programs made by the same production team.
