Quotes

Anita Van Buren: Did you know William Timmons when you lived up in Dargerville?
Dianne Cary: Thousands of people live in and around Dargerville.
Anita Van Buren: No doubt. What happened to you two up there?
Dianne Cary: Nothing happened. I don't think you have the right to ask...

Escaping justice
25 November 2014 | by (Buffalo, New York) – See all my reviews

A man gets off a tour bus from a church group in upstate New York and an hour later comes staggering out of a Chinatown alley with a bullet in him. Investigation by Jeremy Sisto and Anthony Anderson show this guy was a regular crime wave up in his small town. But an examination of his rapsheet shows this man is always escaping justice including for the rape of Katee Sackhoff who has moved to New York City but is from that small town.

Naturally she's looking good for it, but a little more investigation shows that a whole lot of people had a big interest in the deceased whether he was alive or dead. Most particularly Clancy Brown the sheriff and even the governor Tom Everett Scott who appointed Sam Waterston to his new job after Fred Dalton Thompson resigned.

This one is a cover-up from start to finish and another person dies in said cover-up. Jeremy Sisto spends a night in Brown's jail as well.

Part of the ongoing saga between Waterston and Scott, Law And Order's portrait of the fall of Elliott Spitzer.
