In "The Brave and the Bold" comic (issue #85, August-September 1969), artist Neal Adams gave the character a makeover, setting the stage for Green Arrow's partnership with Green Lantern in the comics, drawn by Adams, written by Denny O'Neil. When Green Arrow and a possessed Batman fight on Excaliber's Tower, GA is knocked off and holding on to the edge of the top level. Then when le Fey arrives to prompt Batman to make GA fall, GA is holding on to the edge of the 2nd to the last step before the top level. Finally, after Arrow falls, Batman and le Fay are standing on the top level without having moved. See more
