This "making of" simply combines 4 1\2 minutes of clips from the movie WAIT UNTIL DARK with 4 1\2 minutes of separately-interviewed comments from co-star Alan Arkin (Roat) and producer Mel Ferrer (who does not acknowledge being married at the time of filming to star Audrey Hepburn, who played the endangered blind woman Susy in DARK). Most of these comments are devoted to complimenting Hepburn, who, they note, refused to wear any eye make-up or prosthetic device, preferring to simply STARE too hard to indicate her blindness (making her appearance unlike ANY of the many blind people I've met in my life). Perhaps Hepburn's stubbornness partly explains why motion picture academy voters passed her over for an Oscar in this role, despite her lead-actress nomination. Says Arkin about his late co-star, "(Audrey) was witty, a real hard worker, and incredibly game." Adds Ferrer, "All the actors are good, but Audrey is just that little bit better."
