It's an odd story, but that's what happened to Andy Mingo, a filmmaker out of Portland who has been trying to find actor Eddie Wretch for the past six months. Since the cops don't seem to have any leads, Mingo is turning to online social media sites, asking for information on MySpace and Facebook.
Living in the modern world, I'm compelled to suspect this as a viral marketing gimmick, but what the hell. Worst case scenario, I just helped spread word out of an independent film, which I'll happily do.
