Mother Nena Jaye and daughter Cassie Jaye made the film together over a period of 2 years.
Due to their ultra-low film budget, Cassie Jaye learned to edit on Final Cut Pro in order to save money and finish the film.
Won the award for Best Documentary at the 2010 Cannes Independent Film Festival, 2010 Bare Bones Film Festival, 2010 Action on Film Festival, and 2010 Idyllwild Independent Festival of Cinema. It also won the Audience Choice award at the 2010 Columbia Gorge Film Festival, and won an Honorable Mention at the Los Angeles International film Festival.
