This is one of the most important films of 2010, it is truly a must see. A story of love, heartbreaking loss and the resulting work to make laws fair for same sex couples. The incomprehensible, bizarre twist of fate that took the life of Charlene's long time partner, the disregard for their relationship by the hospital staff and Charlene's resolve to work to change laws so this will not happen to any other couple is a moving tribute to the love they shared. This film is an important wake up call to anyone who loves someone of the same sex, their family, friends and the community at large who believe that love and marriage should be available to everyone.
