Storyline

In this un-aired pilot for the animated "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" series that was never picked up by a network, Buffy is attacked by a vampire in an alley. Later, Giles informs Buffy, Xander, and Willow that they will have to miss the party they were planning on attending because the followers of a being named Morgala are planning an apocalypse. Also, Buffy is attacked by a dragon.

The series was originally scheduled to premiere in 2002 on Fox Kids. But Fox sold their children's programming division during pre-production. Fox tried to sell the series to many networks but none of them would pick it up. In 2004, a four-minute pilot was made but still no network would buy it.

Buffy that never was

I could actually see BtVS as a cartoon because it's all about demons and vampires and stuff from horror movies but if anyone here is a Buffy fan they'd know it's not scary... I hope no Buffy fan is scared by it.

Anyone who's seen this would immediately know this is definitely for kids that are younger than original Buffy fans. You maybe wondering why I took a look at it, it was because I wanted to see how another incarnation of Buffy would be... well it could've been ####... and it wasn't as good as the original of course.

Joss Whedon should've made another live-action spin-off like Faith The Vampire Slayer which would be much more interesting than Buffy not that Buffy's Boring it's either that or a spin-off of Angel called Spike... Wow if Joss Whedon is reading this (which I doubt) He just got another 2 Series' on his hands.

Giselle Loren is a great Sarah Michelle Gellar voice impressionist to be honest I couldn't tell the difference between the 2 until I looked at the cast.

They sort of ruined Xander's Character in this but besides him that's it he's more bumbling in this then in the other Series when he's the one that cracks corny jokes in the library (I'm only referencing Season's 1 2 and 3) but in this they completely missed his character... well kids wouldn't have understood 7/8 of his jokes so the whole talk about me actually seen BtVS as a cartoon just for the effects.
