that music . . .

Warning: Spoilers
I came to this BBC production late . . . it's a 2008 show that I'm seeing now in 2020. Too many episodes include particular music by John Lunn who also did the music for Downton Abbey. I viewed DA before it crossed the pond to the U.S. One of my favorite things about the 2nd and 3rd episodes was the music played -- nay, the 'anthem' of and played in many poignant Mary and Matthew scenes. And that same music I so identified with the Crawleys is here, in this show which certainly came first. It's in several episodes, so it worsens for me as I see more episodes. So, Mr. Lunn used the same music and, it rather ruins the original happy/moved feelings I had when I heard it viewing - and listening - Downton. I tell you, Hans Zimmer et al never made that error. And it is an error, sadly so.

Other to that, the production is good, the story is rather wicked and drawn out and now I'm impatient to have Amy be with Arthur. SIGH
