Storyline

The team hopes to solve rehab-unwilling Nate's drinking problem by eliminating the root cause. So they want to go after Ian Blackpoole, CEO of the insurance company which denied Nate's son vital medical help. Blackpoole is a leading Renaissance art collector, so the scam is to sell to him a fake of one of the two models Michelangelo made for his David and have Ian 'exposed' as a fraud. Things get complicated first when Nate's ex-wife, a real art expert, volunteers to authenticate the fake. Worse follows when Nate's Nemesis Jim Sterling takes several team members hostage by surprise. Written by KGF Vissers

Trivia

When Sophie shows Nate the storage unit containing all of the items she's stolen, the chalice she picks up is the prop used as the Judas Chalice in The Librarian: The Curse of the Judas Chalice (2008), which was also produced by Dean Devlin. See more »

Goofs

As stated in the pilot episode, Hardison's tech uses bone conduction; the ear pieces do not have speakers so they would have no way of hearing what was being said. See more »

Quotes

Alec Hardison: Is Maggie a very good art inspector?
Nathan Ford: Yeah, she's the best.
Parker: No, no, no! We can't let your ex-wife anywhere near our little naked man!
