Action flick with charismatic hero
27 August 2010 | by (Sweden) – See all my reviews

Plotwise this movie contains nothing we did not see before. It involves a CIA agent (Paul Logan), some more CIA people (Robert Davi and Marin Kove), the hero's love interest (C.B. Parker) and a terrorist (Andrew Divoff). The film includes well-produced action sequences and most of all Ballistica, a sorts of Martial Arts involving guns. Storywise the film contains few novelties. Instead the reason for watching this film is its star Paul Logan. He has certainly developed as an actor since his early days in daytime soaps both in terms of delivering dialogue and when it comes to on-screen charisma. He shines in all action scenes and especially in the martial arts sequences (Ballistica) that are well integrated in the story. Logan has what it takes to catch the viewer's interest and YES the storyline involves several scenes where he is shirtless. Overall, I enjoyed the film very much. Few novelties but well pulled off and a great hero.
