"Ballistica" has 2 very familiar faces from the '80's action movies: Martin Kove, who is best known for supporting roles in "Rambo: First Blood Part II" and "Karate Kid" and Robert Davi. Davi also played supporting roles in classics like "Licence To Kill" and "Die Hard". They also co-produced "Ballistica" and they once again have supporting roles.
The leading action-hero has to be one of the worst actors in history: Paul Logan. He's unknown and walks around with a (laughable) mean look but lacks any form of charisma. He's totally unbelievable, but that can be said for the entire cast. The story is dull and stupid and the action is silly beyond believe: ballistica is some sort of karate with guns. This is based (a.k.a. stolen from) "Equilibrium" (2002). In that action classic, Gun Kata resulted in some memorable, jaw-dropping action scenes. But here, 'Ballistica' has you laughing and crying at the same time. The word "stupid" doesn't even begin to cover this piece of mess. I've seen some awfully bad action movies throughout the years but this one really takes the cake: I dare you to watch the full 90 minutes: it's almost impossible...
