"My daughter doesn't have the luxury to bury her head in the sand"
16 February 2009 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

We're presumably meant to be hoping Bridget doesn't go through with the abortion, despite the fact that her and Declan as parents, especially him, isn't a particularly thrilling idea.Once again, we get the old Neighbours trick of a character telling the truth and then apologising for it.Zeke is right on having a go at Declan(why didn't Bridget end up with him instead?).Although it's debatable whether she's too good for him, given she was daft enough to choose him.

Keeping up the family tradition, Rachel is the one trying to talk sense into Bridget, realising she's reacting emotionally to everything. Ringo and Donna continue to be cute and Zeke casually agreeing to help Ringo, even though he doesn't like Declan at the moment, is a good moment. As is Donna casually munching away at some sweets outside the abortion clinic.Steve shutting Rebecca off when she tries to get self-righteous is a nice moment too.But it all gets a bit silly when the boys end up burying a dead wombat. Is that meant to be symbolic?Or is it just padding?

The only other thing going on is Callum's campaign to get Kelly reinstated and annoying the hell out of Paul Robinson in the process. Has there been any suggestion that Callum's illiterate before? It seems a bit out of nowhere.
