The commercial debut for Croft's and Wheeler's pioneering "Video Scuffing" production technique. Shots are manipulated and crafted meticulously to create a unique appearance and composition.
'Robert Wheeler' built a rendering network to handle the HD footage in the film on a shoestring budget. Many of the shots were prepared on machines that a local scout hut had been loading on to a van to take to the landfill as Wheeler happened to pass.
Post-production for the film took place in a number of unconventional studio setups. It was edited primarily in a small cabin in the producer 'Robert Wheeler''s garden. The secondary makeshift studio the living room of director 'Antony Croft''s home, which was undergoing refurbishment at the time. Often works to the house went on around the editing session itself. One studio computer broke down during production due to being clogged with plaster dust.
