Goofs

In "The Man in the Moon," Papa Smurf said that since he could not leave his Smurfs to go to the moon, he said to Mother Nature that he will "offer volunteers" to go for him. In the next scene, however, he is shown in the Smurf Village pointing his finger at four Smurfs (Vanity, Greedy, Handy, and Smurfette) as his "volunteers." Since Papa Smurf chose the four Smurfs to go to the moon, they cannot be volunteers since they did not make the choice to go to the moon themselves. See more »
