Many of the credits for crew are fake. James Nguyen added them to make the film look more professional.
James Nguyen spent four years making this movie.
Lead actress Whitney Moore took over the job of make-up artist after the first two hired make-up artists quit after the first two weeks of filming.
When this film was rejected from the Sundance Film Festival, James Nguyen promoted his film by putting banners, fake blood, and fake birds all over his van. He would drive around to advertise until it caught the attention of Severin Films, which then distributed this film.
When advertising for the movie, the movie title was painted onto the side of a lorry. It was initially spelt wrong, it read "Bidremic"
James Nguyen made the actresses wear bikinis during the make-out scenes because he didn't want any of the couples to actually have sex.
James Nguyen got the idea of this film from watching The Birds (1963) and An Inconvenient Truth (2006).

This film was shot at various locations without permits.

The use of coat hangers as a weapon against the birds was a last minute decision made by writer/director James Nguyen.
Tippi Hedren gets third billing in the end credits, for "Footage from Julie and Jack". She is only briefly seen on a muted TV in the background during a motel scene approximately 45 minutes into the film.
James Nguyen bought the van used for three hundred dollars.
The bulk of the craft services for this movie was provided by 7-Eleven.
The character of Rod is patterned after writer/director James Nguyen.
The character of Rod was named in homage to actor Rod Taylor.
