Masks are not fashion accessories
sigelm3 December 2020
A very interesting episode plot-wise. I really felt for the defendant and Marissa's backstory was pretty cute and interesting, as is Benny's current conflict. The only illogical thing was the fact that somehow a driver in armed robbery that never touched the gun nor set foot in the jewelry store got to serve a year longer in prison than the actual robber who robbed the store at gunpoint.

What I want to protest against is the way masks are being used at the shooting. It gives away the false impression that masks are safe to be taken off, crumpled in hands and put on the face again. It promotes the false belief that it is safe to take down the mask if one is in the presence of the people one is familiar with. As if being friends with someone can prevent the spreading of the virus onto that other person. Shooting episodes like this, with improper use of the facial mask, is like advertising the said improper use to public. There is enough people out there who are still ignorant of proper ways to protect themselves and others against the pandemics, there is no need to run shows on prime tv that will misguide the public that a mask under the chin provides protection or that you can't get infected by close friends.

This has Spoilers but read BEFORE Watching and see if I am right r/t Crime Shows
radarfirs717 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Shalom, this is my Second Bull Episode I have watched, and the First was the Ridiculous Musical Dream episode.

I would like to challenge how most "Newer" Crime related TV shows do the Plot. I grew up with the Happy Hollister's ( Kid Detective books) and Sherlock Holmes. What I don't like is giving the Ending (at the start) "Who done what?" so we know it is NOT the Butler. I miss Columbo shows that we have to figure it out with the Detectives or Defense Lawyers. It places a Bias at the start of the Show.

In this show is more figuring out which Jurors to use then figuring out the Crime. The Defense Lawyers are blind to what is the Truth, why can't we? Plus it would be great to see if we have the Biases the Defense & Prosecutor are trying to find out to have a Juror or not ... what type of Juror would we be? But because we know the Truth of the situation we can't. Did you know in Israel the Prosecutor is called "HaSatan"? It is Hebrew for "The Adversary" many think "Satan" is a Name but is only a Title.

Now due to we saw what happened, makes us question the Video of the actual crime they find. We see the Guard get out of the Passenger side of the Van, BUT we also can see the Drivers side. Why is the Video cut short? It should have shown the Guard going in the Van, and later the Guard also shooting Blind into the Field and killing the other Guard. Why is the Court case only show that the Guard is possibly guilty of sex with inmates, but nothing about the Judge calling to have the Guard Arrested for Manslaughter of the other Guard?

Several of the other reviews ask why are Masks on/off, folded, etc? The reason they take off the Masks is so the Actors Faces can be see, or other wise their "Stunt / Doubles" could play their parts but then if the Masks stay on and the Doubles are truly "Stunt" Doubles because the Actual Actors can stay at home and in a way be safe?

I am sure most of us prefer to see the "Right" bad guy is caught, but when the Whole Story of the Crime is given at the Start then we don't get to see what type of Juror, Defense/Prosecutor or even Detective we could be? Now we are just watching in a way just banter.

Several plot holes in this episode.
rob hendrikx20 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
There's a lot going on in this episode, with Benny getting asked to run for DA, and Chunk defending an old acquaintance. There are a couple of moments however where the writers dropped the ball.

First off, Marisa realises that one potential juror is someone she used to go to school with, and she is worried that she might have to recuse herself from this case. Bull reassures her, because the juror will never get to see her anyway. And after being worried about her having known him 20 years ago, she reaches out to her high school classmates, and acts surprised that he responds to her. What the hell was she thinking??? Absolutely unbelievable plot twist. Marisa would have waited until the trial was over. Poorly conceived way to create drama.

Secondly, Chunk's reasoning is: why would Ronnie try to escape with only six more months to serve? Good point. Even better point: why would she run when they were taking her to chemo therapy, maybe her only way of beating cancer? This is never mentioned, a missed opportunity.

Finally, very conveniently, Danny finds sperm from the prison guard in an old prison van. Chunk sees this as evidence that the guard had sex with a female prisoner. The guard sits there and duly bows his head, because he knows that he's been beaten. NOOOO! Why does he not admit to having masturbated in the van once? That they found his sperm does NOT mean he had sex with a female prisoner, just that he ejaculated. A decent lawyer would have pointed this out.

what a great episode!
galfriday9 December 2020
This season took some warming up time, maybe just getting used to seeing all the actors wearing masks I don't know, but this was the first really good episode of the season so far. "Ronnie" was great I really felt for her, and Marissa getting her heart broken yet again while being attracted to the guy from her past was fun to see. They did a great job on this one, it felt zippy mores than last season, I loved it and may even watch it again.

Boring episode
rickbell192 December 2020
Did not hold my interest! Boring as hell! I know the Covid BS has effected filming but they need to step it up. Especially Michael Weatherly. He may as well phone it in.

Chunk is boring
M0E_Szyslak20 January 2022
Not sure if the guy who used to dress the clients is gonna be the lawyer going forward but the character is rubbish. Bull and Benny are dynamic, this episode was dull, with Chunk in first chair.
