Looking for a new show to watch and I watch first episode fo decide

They say that, if you watch first episode and you dont like it you will probably not like the rest eather.

For me watching this. It looks ok but it feels like something I watched to many times. Im not sure if they are going for a Villainess (2017) kind of revenge story and if I get curious enough I will find out.

What I see is high impact drama in the beginning to create a motivation for the main character, there is also her heading on a path of revenge and seek a path to find it.

So we got an underdog story and a revenge story taken place at the same time.

The scene "setups" for the main character on this path feels a bit to obvous and that gives me a bit of a doubt if I should continue watch this.

Dont get me wrong here. It looks like a solid production but what I saw in first episode doesnt feel creative enough for me.

I dont claim to have the golden taste and this is just my thoughts. I recommend anyone that feels this is interesting to just give 1 episode a go and then you can decide after that.

A little above average

Any Korean drama I watched after SQUID GAME was going to suffer by comparison and so it proves with MY NAME. Not that this first episode is bad, it's just that it feels more than a little average. The plotting is fine and there's at least one good set-piece here, but it's hard to empathise with the main character's plight. I hope things will change.

The story is pretty predictable

The story look so naive and pridictable. As well as the charcter and its feeling not introduced properly. It looks like lot of overacting and absurd drama.

What is this nonsense. The events are not coherent and illogical. The first half hour is acceptable, but what happened after that is nonsense. How can you go and trust a gang easily to train to fight while she did not find and does not know who killed her father anymore! In fact, I have doubts that the head of the gang is the killer, because the first episode of its events is very poor, I don't think I will finish it.
