A dinner party is fraught with peril for Cassandra Hall and her secret lover, Paul Williams. George Rawlins, Cassandra's much older husband, is giving the party. Of course, he invites his friend and business associate, Paul, who is doing some P.I. work for him. He also invites his niece Brittany Norman, who is suspicious of her beloved uncle's young wife. Brittany brings a date: Jack Abbott, who is sure he's seen Cassandra Hall somewhere before. Meanwhile, Brad Carlton is in even graver peril. He's still in Lisa Mansfield's cage, in a country house far removed from potential prying eyes. But now he realizes he needs to be nicer to Lisa, especially after her bone-chilling threat to burn down the house.
