Warner Bros. Pictures 2013 Preview

24 December 2012 2:34 PM, PST | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Warner Bros. has released their 2013 preview, which showcases their slate of movies for the new year. The studio's new releases include Gangster Squad, Bullet to the Head, Beautiful Creatures, Jack the Giant Slayer, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, 42, The Great Gatsby, The Hangover Part III, Man of Steel, Pacific Rim, The Conjuring, 300: Rise of an Empire, We're the Millers, Getaway, Prisoners, The Seventh Son, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, and Gravity.

Gangster Squad - January 11th

Los Angeles, 1949. Ruthless, Brooklyn-born mob king Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn) runs the show in this town, reaping the ill-gotten gains from the drugs, the guns, the prostitutes and-if he has his way-every wire bet placed west of Chicago. And he does it all with the protection of not only his own paid goons, but also the police and the politicians who are under his control. It's enough to intimidate even the bravest, street-hardened cop. »

Poster Round-Up: 'Jack Reacher', 'Pacific Rim', 'Parker' and 'Warm Bodies'

14 December 2012 10:51 AM, PST | Rope of Silicon | See recent Rope Of Silicon news »

Several new posters have been released over the week and instead of giving each a post of their own I figured I would just round up ten of them here in this post, which includes five different comical posters for the upcoming rom-com Warm Bodies directed by Jonathan Levine (50/50) starring Nicholas Hoult as a highly unusual zombie who rescues a girl (Teresa Palmer) from imminent death at the hands of his cohorts, their unlikely romance sets in motion a chain of events that will transform him, his fellow dead and maybe even the whole lifeless world. In addition to that I have a German poster for Jack Reacher as well as the final poster for the film, which makes sure everyone understands this is a Tom Cruise vehicle, which I actually found a little surprising. A few years ago it seemed Cruise was an actor no one was sure could »

New poster for Stallone’s ‘Bullet to the Head’

14 December 2012 10:49 AM, PST | Blogomatic3000 | See recent Blogomatic3000 news »

Based on the French graphic novel Du Plomb Dans La Tete written by by Matz (aka Alexis Nolent) and drawn by Colin Wilson, Bullet to the Head is the latest film from the still-prolific-at-66-years-old Sylvester Stallone who teams with director Walter Hill (The Warriors, Trespass), for a film that  sees Stallone play Jimmy Bobo, a hitman who teams with a young NYPD detective (Sung Kang) in a high-stakes investigation that leads from the dingy back alleys of New Orleans all the way to the power corridors of New Orleans. The unlikely duo, brought together by two vicious murders, take on all who stand in their way, and are willing to sacrifice everything to exact revenge.

Also starring Jason Momoa, Christian Slater, Sarah Shahi and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Bullet to the Head is scheduled for a release in February.

'Bullet To The Head' Poster: 'Revenge Never Gets Old'

14 December 2012 8:21 AM, PST | MTV Splash Page | See recent MTV Splash Page news »

There's nothing like celebrating the new year with a healthy dose of revenge. The upcoming Sylvester Stallone action flick "Bullet to the Head" comes out in a month and a half, and the new poster for the flick promises that its leading man isn't too old for a revenge movie.

Of course, we already knew that thanks to the two badass trailers released for the film. Still, it's nice to be reminded that "revenge never gets old," even if Stallone does. The new poster comes courtesy of IGN.

The adaptation of the French graphic novel Du Plomb Dans La Tete is due out in theaters on February 1. The flick follows a hitman named Jimmy Bobo who teams up with a New York City cop to take down the men who kidnapped his daughter. Cue plenty of violence, murders and all around bloodshed to kick your February off with a bang. »

New Poster for Sylvester Stallone's Bullet To The Head

14 December 2012 7:00 AM, PST | GeekTyrant | See recent GeekTyrant news »

A new poster has been released for Sylvester Stallone's latest action film Bullet to the Head. The movie was directed by Walter Hill and is based on the graphic novel created by Alexis Nolent. I'm always up for a ridiculous looking action movie, and this one has an axe fight, so it's got that going for it!

In the film, a hitman (Stallone) teams with a young NYPD detective played by Sung Kang in a high-stakes investigation that leads from dingy back alleys all the way to the power corridors of New Orleans. The unlikely duo, brought together by two vicious murders, take on all who stand in their way, willing to sacrifice everything to exact revenge.

The action thriller is set to open on February 1st, 2013 and also co-stars Sung Kang, Sarah Shahi, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Christian Slater and Holt McCallany. Check out the trailer for the film if you haven't seen it yet, »

Stallone Ready To Give A ‘Bullet To The Head’ In First Poster

14 December 2012 6:30 AM, PST | The Hollywood News | See recent The Hollywood News news »

Shot well over two years ago Walter Hill’s Bullet To The Head has been delayed multiple times, but now looks set for cinemas from early next year. The film, directed by the man who gave us sure-fire classics The Driver, The Warriors and survival-thriller Southern Comfort, is headlined by Sylvester Stallone as a hitman who teams up with a cop (Sung Kang) to bring down the maniac (Jason Momoa) who killed their respective partners.

The film was originally set to be helmed by The Cooler’s Wayne Kramer (and co-star the underrated Thomas Jane in the role later going to Kang), but clashes with Stallone on the direction of the film saw him vacate the project early into production.

Here we have the first poster (using an image we first saw a full year ago) for the violent action-thriller co-starring Christian Slater, Sarah Shahi, Brian Van Holt and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje. »

There’s a new poster for Bullet to the Head, which you can see below.

The synopsis:

Based on a graphic novel, Bullet to the Head tells the story of a New Orleans hitman ( Sylvester Stallone) and a New York City cop who form an alliance to bring down the killers of their respective partners.

Another gritty, ultra-violent Stallone action flick, this time directed by Walter Hill?

I’m in!

Bullet to the Head hits theatres February 1, 2013.

New poster for Bullet To The Head

14 December 2012 3:37 AM, PST | TotalFilm | See recent TotalFilm news »

Sly Stallone's latest action flick Bullet To The Head has released a new poster, in which our grizzled hero points a gun and looks mean / surprised, as only he can. The new poster is fairly bog-standard stuff for an action movie… a few bullet holes here, a dash of blood there. However, we quite like that actually-quite-clever tagline, even if it mines yet another gag about Stallone's age. The new film will see Sly play an ageing hitman who comes out of retirement for one last job when a former partner is gunned down. What do you mean...

Sly is Upside Down in New, Deadly Bullet to the Head Poster

13 December 2012 11:03 PM, PST | Beyond Hollywood | See recent Beyond Hollywood news »

I have no idea why Sylvester Stallone seems to be lying on the floor pointing his gun at something on the ceiling in this latest poster for “Bullet to the Head”. Then again, it’s not like whoever slapped this thing together put a who lot of thought into it. They just took an old still from the movie and sprinkled some gratuitously huge bullet holes on the thing. Sly’s tattoo looks appropriate dangerous, though… After watching their respective partners die, a cop and a hitman form an alliance in order to bring down their common enemy. Also starring Jason Momoa, Christian Slater, Sarah Shahi, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Sung Kang, Jon Seda, Holt McCallany, and directed by Walter Hill. The bullets fly February 1, 2013. Bullet To The Head Poster Crashes Online

13 December 2012 4:01 PM, PST | EmpireOnline | See recent EmpireOnline news »

Sly Stallone's Bullet To The Head looks like a gleefully unreconstructed old-school actioner. So it seems appropriate that it's just received a barely constructed poster. Displaying a few bullet-holes, a splash of blood and a rather wonkily rotated and already widely distributed still of Stallone, it is, shall we say, a little slapdash. Hopefully that's not a reflection of the finished movie.Fear not though: we have high hopes for lowbrow awesomeness from Bullet To The Head, since it's directed by action maestro Walter Hill (48 Hours, The Long Riders, Southern Comfort). The film is set in New Orleans, and it's about a cop (Sung Kang) and a hitman (Stallone) who join forces to take down their common enemy Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje.It's based on the French comics series by Alex "Matz" Nolent and Colin Wilson, and it's Hill's first cinematic outing since Undisputed in 2002. Amazingly, he never worked with Stallone back in the day, »
