Trivia:

Thomas Jane was brought into the project by original director Wayne Kramer. When Kramer left the project, Jane suggested Sylvester Stallone to hire Walter Hill. After Hill took over directorial duties, Joel Silver came on board the project and fired Jane because he wanted an ethnic guy for the other lead role. Sung Kang was subsequently cast.

Goofs:

Continuity: When Bonomo meets Kwon in the bar for the first time, Bonomo fills up his glass with his favorite 2 Bullet bourbon. He then drinks about half of the glass. While talking to Kwon he brings the glass back up to his mouth for another drink and the glass is full again.

Bullet to the Noggin - A Hardcore Stallone Fix • 7/10

How can anyone complain (some reviewers have) about going to see a Sly Stallone flick called Bullet to the fckng Head and accuse it of being anything other than what it's supposed to be? A Stallone action movie, pure and simple. If you feel the need to get any thinking done, take a damn book with you to the cinema. I would have liked to have seen a complicated plot and a hero with mega issues but I just can't see Sly jerking off for the cameras or having a gay relationship with his cop buddy, it ain't gonna work, just trust me on this.

If you need a Sylvester Stallone action fix then this movie mainlines it to the brain. I recently watched the brilliant Django and the blood splatter is the same in this. It sprays everywhere. No braincells need be wasted watching this Stallone vehicle. Just sit back and enjoy.
