After being gang-raped by members of the League, Gemma finds herself unable to tell either Clay or Jax, instead turning to Tara and Unser for help. When Alvarez finds the Mayan killed by Opie, he mistakenly believes the 9ers are responsible and asks Clay to sell him as many AKs as he can. However, Clay uses the opportunity to try to restore SAMCRO's relationship with the 9ers, despite being unhappy with Jax making decisions without him. Meanwhile, a rival porn producer, Georgie Caruso, moves to put Luann out of business, prompting Otto to ask SAMCRO to help her out. Written by Bertaut

Did You Know?

The Canadian heavy metal band Anvil recorded a version of The Who's "Slip Kid" with vocalist Franky Perez that was played during this show. The song was recorded in 2009 and was released on "Sons Of Anarchy: North Country" a five-song EP featuring music from the show. Slightly more interesting is that Anvil band mates Steve "Lips" Kudlow and Robb Reiner make a cameo appearance in the same episode. Steve and Robb appear with Opie, Tig and another SOA lugging duffel bags of A.K.s to the van from Opie's place. Their non-speaking cameo is uncredited and happens during the 34th minute of the TV broadcast (with commercials). See more »

Small Tears (#2.2)
1 September 2015 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

The way they develop the Gemma story is pretty awesome. I like how she decided not to tell it to Clay and Jax to not let her assaulter win. This is very much fitting to her very strong character. I also like how she ended up collaborating with the detective as well as Tara. Detective working with them is always interesting to watch and considering the relationship she always had with Tara this little twist brings a very interesting development.

The story with Luann is not bad but very predictable. Still it gives us a lot of good scenes which include fighting. And I also loved the Sopranos reference!
