Storyline

Having tricked Stahl and Edmond into showing their hand, the Sons have collected Jimmy's stockpile of weaponry. However, as they attempt to dispatch Weston, and then Zobelle, they find themselves twarted by Hale. Now in an alliance with the Triad and the 9ers, SAMCRO attempts to permanently rid Charming of Zobelle, who has lost the support of Weston. However, Stahl, Unser and Hale get some unexpected info from the FBI, rendering Zobelle untouchable, and when he is released from prison, the Mayans come out in force to protect him. Cameron tells Edmond that to convince Jimmy he's not a rat, he must indicate the extent to which he would go for the IRA; he has to kill Stahl. Meanwhile, Polly makes the decision to visit Edmond to say goodbye before leaving Charming with her father. Written by Bertaut

Goofs

The ambush set up for Zobelle near the end had SAMCRO firing at each other like this --> <--...a group this experienced would have not made this mistake as it opens up its members to be hit by each others rounds. Instead, a proper ambush is set up in an L shape. See more »

You can't always get what you want

Well, to say I'm angry that Zobelle got out of this show alive is an understatement, but at least his daughter was killed. If there was any member of Zobelle's crew I wanted dead it was her. Even Henry Rollins, who raped Gemma, came around in the end for me. I'm not forgiving the things he did, but the fact that he left Zobelle's crew is good enough for me. Otto even got some revenge for the Aryan who took his eye. The climax to this episode is fantastic, with SAMCRO racing to save Abel while a cover of "Gimme Shelter" plays. That ending is up there with Walt laughing in the crawl space in "Breaking Bad" for me. Season 2 was certainly a step up from Season 1, with better drama, and a truly evil antagonist. It'll be interesting to see where SAMCRO goes from here, with Gemma on the run, and Abel probably on his way to Ireland.
